Presentation Day, Sept 2006. On Presentation Day our students – after the completion of each term – present what they have learned or created in the preceding term (drama, art, etc.) during additional classes. Dzień Prezentacji wrzesień 2006. Każdy semester w naszej szkole kończy się prezentacją tego co uczniowie przygotowali i nauczyli się w ciągu mijajacego semestru. Proszę zaglądać do kalendarza i sprawdzić daty prezentacji. Poniżej to co nam dzieci pokazały 23 września 2006.
The Polish School of Sydney – a community language school, located in Randwick Boys’ High School was pleased to host the Honourable Paul Pearce, Member for Coogee as its special guest at the end of third term celebrations.
It is always a privilege to have a Member of Parliament takes interest in the NSW community language schools program.
Paul spoke to the students and audience about the need to learn languages and the importance of education. He also highlighted the importance of cultural diversity and multiculturalism. At the conclusion of the speech Paul Pearce presented awards to students for their achievements during the term.
The students in their presentation day explained in both Polish and English their visual art works, their language classes and delighted the audience with their songs and poetry.
Paul Pearce took the time to meet the parents and students at the conclusion of the performances. Afterwards he met with the school’s management committee and heard of some of the issues in relation to operating a language school.
