On 14 March 2020 we had a great pleasure of welcoming in our school one of the most popular Polish children’s writers in the 21st century, Grzegorz Kasdepke. Meeting the author of several dozen books and guides for young readers, including compulsory school readings was a truly extraordinary event which had a real impact on our students. As it was the first author meeting for most of them, many stories enriched by personal experience and shared by the vivid author came to life in kids’ imagination and made a lasting impact. Live storytelling enhanced with tricky questions and followed with surprising responses from our young readers ensured that the morning was very entertaining and memorable. And those who were not familiar with the extraordinary work of master Kasdepke will certainly reach out for his books now!
